I'm Summa Cum Laude in English-Creative Writing, and I didn't come to editing through a checklist — I came to it through poetry, through years of reading for rhythm and the weight of a single word choice. That's the lens I bring to every manuscript now.
As Odyssey Reader, I work at the intersection of developmental and line editing, and as an Author PA, I handle the logistics side too — ARC campaigns, submission tracking, launch coordination — so the craft side isn't fighting the business side for your attention.
